A retired legal counselor writes a novel hoping to find closure for one
of his past unresolved homicide cases and for his unreciprocated love
with his superior - both of which still haunt him decades later.
Following an ever-growing epidemic of zombies that have risen from the
dead, two Philadelphia SWAT team members, a traffic reporter, and his
television-executive girlfriend seek refuge in a secluded shopping mall.
In 1923, in the province of Shinshu, the widow and simple worker of a
silk factory Tsune Nonomiya (O-Tsune) decides to send her only son to
Tokyo for having a better education. Thirteen years later, she visits
her son Ryosuke Nonomiya (Shinichi Himori), and finds that he is a poor
and frustrated night-school teacher with a wife, Sugiko (Yoshiko
Tsubouchi), and a baby boy.
Monsieur Hulot has to contact an American official in Paris, but he gets
lost in the maze of modern architecture which is filled with the latest
technical gadgets. Caught in the tourist invasion, Hulot roams around
Paris with a group of American tourists, causing chaos in his usual
manner.
After the world is nearly destroyed by a war, a young boy and his
friends must fight to save the world from those who seek to conquer what
is left of civilization.
